Matt's Eagle Project

A couple weeks ago we were able to go down to Vegas and participate in my little brother's Eagle Project. Matt headed up a walking trail clean up in Henderson. It was a huge success, over 100 people came to help and he did a fantastic job. I am so very proud of how far he has come and the man he is becoming. I love him and am so grateful that he is part of our family. Here are a few pics of his project....

Girl's Day/Night!

This week I was so excited because my best friend, Kristi, and her daughter Brinley came to visit us all the way from Georgia. We only get to see them about once a year so it has been awesome having them here. We decided while she was here that we would have a girl's day/night with just Kristi, her sister Katie, and I. We started off our day with scalp treatments at the Paul Mitchell Hair School. For any of you who have not gotten one of these, you are truly missing out! We also got some dinner at Cafe Rio, Pork Salads....so delicious! We then spent the night having Kristi teach Katie and I how to make Raspberry Lemonade and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes.

Kristi made us aprons for Christmas so we are sporting them while we make our cupcakes.

After all of our cupcakes were finished, we painted our fingers and toes while watching the rest of Titanic. The next morning we got up and headed over to get massages at the Utah School of Massage Therapy, but it was a 2hr and 15min wait so we decided to cut that idea. Instead we went back, got dressed and then went to try on wedding dresses just for fun. It was fun reliving that joyous event of dress shopping and tried on some dresses that we never thought we would have ever tried on.

Overall, it was an amazing two days with Kristi and Katie. They are the greatest friends! Love those girls!!

Auto Show 2011

Justin and I went to the Auto Show up at the South Towne Expo Center on Saturday. It is always such a blast to see all the nice new cars. Found a couple I would have loved to drive right out of the show room :) Here's a few picks we took....
